Cascade Hops Released in 1972, Cascade hops were the first commercially accepted American-bred utility aroma/flavoring hops with a relatively low bittering value. They continue to be popular with craft brewers and are ideal for dry hopping.
Aroma -Medium with floral and citrusy tones.
Chemistry -Alpha acids 4.5-7.0%, beta acids 4.5-7.0%, cohumulone 33-40%, total oils 0.7-1.5ml/100g, myrcene 45-60%, humulene 8-16%
