Point Brew Supply’s Annual Teach A Friend to Home Brew Day

Join us right outside the brew shop on Saturday, nationally known as Learn to Homebrew Day.  http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/pages/events/learn-to-homebrew-day There is NO cost to participate, but we’d sure like to know who will be attending and brewing. Please invite and bring as many people that you know who seem interested in learning how to brew, That is the whole point of the event. If your brewing, please try to bring someone! Prepare your recipe(s), buy your ingredients, and bring your equipment to the shop and come brew! In the past we have had a pretty large turnout, lets do it again. Send us a facebook post and let us know if your brewing, or email us.

The day’s itinerary is traditional All Grain Brewers with mash tuns, etc. please get started after 8:30, but no later than 9 a.m. Extract and Brew in a Bag brewers, please be here and started by 11 a.m. Please do not get here earlier in the morning, unless you will not be able to participate otherwise. We would like to have the event go all day, as we use to, so when bi-standers and people trying to figure out what we are doing, we have the actual procedures of brewing going on to explain. The event should finish right around closing time of the shop – 5 p.m.

Steve from Central Wisconsin Draught Board will be doing a talk on Mai bock’s that day. He most likely will not do the talk till around Noon, to ensure the most amount of people are there to learn the style. Mai bock’s are the Club vs. Club beer style this year and the competition is February 16th, so hurry, get one started!  http://www.bullfalls.org/ggclubrules.html

Please bring folding chairs, food to grill and share, if you’ll be eating, your coffee mugs for coffee/hot chocolate, etc. Lets have a great event again this year! Thanks for participating again!
